Doing nothing other than a quick Google search for “meaningful work” this morning and at the top of the sponsored list is this pretty cool site – okay very cool – called Echoing Green (and their blog).  While I firmly believe the scope of “work that matters” extends beyond obvious social change organizations, these cats (perhaps known to you, but new to me) seem to have a clear mission, proven track record and a vision they’ve been executing on for some time.  We’re rookies with a different approach, they, however, are pros that deserve your attention.

Starting salaries are down, but this year’s crop of graduates stands a better chance of finding a job than did last year’s.

Once considered a sure-thing, nursing jobs are getting harder to find in some regions.
