The Bigger They Come, the Harder They Cut

If it seems like big companies slash jobs faster than smaller ones, it’s because they do. Why? Maybe it’s because they are so big that the people making the decisions to cut don’t really know the people who will be getting the axe. Maybe it’s because the bigger you are, the more likely it is that you’ll be focused on the bottom line and not on whether what your organization is doing matters or not.
